What Now? – A Poem Written by Bobby Cook

What Now?

Written by Bobby Cook

So where do we go
from here , dear friend,
with words left unsaid
and emotions in the wind?
I’m free as a bird
not the same for you.
but what can we do?
We could fly away
to a different place.
But hurt and heartache
for others stand in our way.
So please,dear, tell me
what is good for us both.
If it is what you need
I can become a ghost.
With emotions swirling
in the wind,
where do we go
from here,my dear friend.
