WHAT I WISH – Poem By Khemlal Pokhrel

What I Wish
Written By Khemlal Pokhrel

Lazy, idle and sickness
Are counted in the world around
But cruelty, barbarity and selfishness
Lo! In heaven aren’t found.

Let the kingdom of heaven be here
And we,the inhabitants of paradise
Enjoying all sorts of privileges
Akin to that heaven, hear, O! hear.

Let the poor and orphans enjoy their span
Let oppressions fade away
And let us all belong
To the same category and clan.

So hear O Lord! to my prayer
And if you wish, I conclude :
Here there shalt be no haves and have nots
And thus all will be in order.
