Value Everything – A Poem Written by Samina Akhter

Value Everything

Written by Samina Akhter

The little buds came out
As soon as
they saw butterflies coming out
The truth is
both have same struggles
To come to know their worlds
And to value one another

The evening bought darkness
To cover the uncovered
Not to snatch happiness
But to tell us tales of happiness
And to value the day light

The dusk came back
To put the darkness behind
To bring the happiness,
for unhappy ones
To bring the food for hungry
And to value the darkness of night
