The True Colour Of Love – A Poem Written by Muhammad Shanazar

The True Colour Of Love

Written by Muhammad Shanazar

The sunny noon,
Winter and windless day,
The clear deep blue sky,
On the roof an abandoned cot,
I wished to have a long snooze,
To shun away and shed the impacts of drudgery,
The uproarious hilarious life,
As soon as I put on a worn out blanket,
Your memories began to haunt,
The sun journeyed to its destination,
The spot where the earth and the sky meet,
As usual looking beneath at the world,
But I silently blubbered in the blanket,
The sun went down showering the crimson hue of twilight,
Resembling my swollen red tearful eyes:
The true colour of love.
