A life without a storyline Written By Corina Junghiatu
Poor, terrorized and divided,
inhabitants of a land full of resources,
defeated by a conspiracy against humanity.
We are extraordinary and full of potential,
but malformed by political vices.
Ragged beggars, we cram the threshold of authorities,
organizations, monarchies, dictatorships
they take away our right to life,
generating convulsion, panic, disequilibrum.
We have become wild, inhuman and sad,
fearful of the truth
we carry the cross of life for just one more day.
We are a flock of birds with broken wings
lined up in the death asylum.
We pay tax on each heart rate,
on history, on creation, on value, on God,
on ideas, on evolution, on enlightenment.
We are arithmetic, numbers and statistics,
we carry the cross of those who are born
in an era without a storyline.
