On The Sea Beach
Written by Kalipada Ghosh
Do you hear the screaming of the yellow grasses?
Have you heard the sighs of the whispering wind?
blowing from the north to south.
Have you heard the twittering of birds
returning to their nest?
Have you heard the squealing of the
The golden seeds are germinating
and dreaming in the beds.
I see you in the clusters of stars
Twinkling in the milky way
I see the beckon star glittering in the northern hemisphere
I see you in the Sun-set hues
I see you in the twilight when light and shade plays hide and seek
I see you in the Autumn garden
Where golden and reddish flowers
blooming all the year round.
I see you in the sea-beach at dusk
When the furious waves are roaring
You are so mysterious hiding your face
So illusive and so beautiful
You and me though known
being unknown with the sands of Time.
A dim light visible from the lighthouse
The sailors miss their way in the blurred mist
Shuddering with the palpitations
We two strolling on the sea -beach
All of sudden dark clouds enveloping
in all directions
A heavy downpour with lightning
Speechless ,we stared at each other!
And We are drenched through and through…
