My Hair… – A Poem Written by Allahobhayo Dal

My Hair…

Written by Allahobhayo Dal

My curly and dark hair,
My strands,
How childhood buddies, revere
and adore my fluffy and velvety hair
Now I have grey hair,
I became suddenly nervous and anxious.
Moment has passed so hastily
I couldn’t curb it,
I couldn’t stop it,
Brawling with responsibilities
Battling with events,
Clashing with chance,
I didn’t pay due care,
Yesterday, when I stood in guise of a mirror,
I began to see silver hair
I found my face wrinkled
I realized that like a fruity tree,
Once It’s fruit becomes ripen,
The worth also declines.
