Mom – A Poem Written by Mahanaj Parvin

Written by Mahanaj Parvin

Why are you so extravagant?
How many square feet of space in the heart?
No world war , no epidemic can destroy!
What a transparent love in rusty eyes!
You don’t have time to hear the cries;
The distance between you and me has increased.
How to take these challenges?
No training required?
So much love to your chest!
Thinking of me,your chest bursts,your eyes are blurred.
I woke up on mother’s day.
You can be poor,your heart is always rich.
There is no food in the house;
The smell of your sweat filled my stomach.
My pen is not writing!
I can’t write!
Be well ‘Mom’!
