Life Without Love – A Poem Written by Birendu Kumar Sinha

Life Without Love

Written by Birendu Kumar Sinha

If one were to get what is prayed for
Return my days with you ask no more
Those fleeting moments sweet precious few
Sparkle like dew when first kissed by you

For few drops of love whole life bargain
Life shorn of such feel is worthless vain
A tall palm tree rises high hobnobs with sky
No shade from hot sun to tired passersbye

Love hearts can brave fiery hazards
Their faith never shaken by blistering blizzards
Life sans love but of regrets and grumble
Is like dry desert or a stinking pile of rubble

Blessed are they who find true love though poor
Cursed is the life of power and pelf with no amour
