JUSTICE: A Far Off Dream – Poem By Mousumi Kalita Sachdeva

JUSTICE: A Far off Dream
Written By Mousumi Kalita Sachdeva

Emotions would be played with
Tears would dry eventually
The protests would fade away
Justice will be a mere myth.

Time will wipe off the crimes
Replacing them with new ones
Truth will bow down to supremacy
Fair play would give up to the hard times.

The wrong would remain as the wrong
Yet dared not to be challenged at
The right will be threatened and strangled
Thus, accepting the wrong to be the strong.

C’mon, O’ my people
Wake up and face the real
No power will respect your emotions
Justice will remain just as a riddle.
