I Wish – A Poem Written by Luzviminda Gabato Rivera

I Wish

Written by Luzviminda Gabato Rivera

Every now and then
I ask myself, since when?
It gave my life a gleam

You came into my life
Amidst all the strife’s
Like a star, shining bright

You are everything I wish for
With a brilliant mind, you soar
A beautiful soul and many more

You are the missing piece that made me whole
All my life, I’ve waited for your soul
And made me see life’s beautiful stroll.

Someday, love will find its way
To fulfill my wish and never go astray
Loving you will keep me going forever and a day.
