I Pass My Existence In Silence

by Sher Chandley

I pass my existence in silence
My thoughts prowl the night
In a cloud it takes flight
My mien grows suddenly dark
Abandoning heavenly forms
For pits of depths so stark
Sacrificed on the altar of solitude
A refuge in sacrifices to folly
Darkness draws a heavy heart
A key unlocking the secrets
Of burrowing fetid thoughts
A heaviness lightened
By the pink padded
Steps of a welcome Dawn
For it brings inverted sleep
Holding honey sweet dreams
To the dreams of awakening
Dreams gently fanned by
A lovely sighing of the wind
Strains of sweet desolation
In scented mists, she is there
She speaks musically
She moves lyrically
She is sentimental
She is graceful
She is tender
She is intoxicating
She was my psychiatrist
She was my psychologist
She was my mistress
She was my love
Brightened my heart
Brightened my mind
Brightened my soul
Brightened my space
With a million flaming candles
Such is sweetness lost
In the phantoms
Of passing time
In all my rising phantoms
I see -feel , feel- see
A divinely naked fairy
With gossamer wings
Crying on a pink toadstool
Then wake to sunset
I pass my existence in silence .
