A Soporific Dream

Written by Hon. Author Magie F-V Vijay-Kumar

I was really scared of that blow
That of a shadow
That measured me a fist
Through a game – whist

Met a ghost
Who was a host
As handsome
As Alain Delon

He sang me great tunes
As I blew up my balloons
Took me by the waist
Made it an affair of the State

Was so gracious
And not at all dubious
I felt a trickle
When my dream was only about a fiddle
