A POET’S TEMPERAMENT – Shiju H. Pallithazheth

Every day is something to be grateful;

Don’t even waste a second of it being hateful!

Life holds a purpose of bond with ones surrounding,

Never ever split it with any kinds of thoughts discriminating.

You are a soldier who is born to fight with hatred,

That’s what makes you in this world as one wanted!

Being selfish, envious and manipulative fails,

As well people who hold this ideology as its tails.

Let the altruism innate be your ideal dictator,

That’s what makes you as the world’s most wanted factor.

Keep away your tongue from spurious speech,

That helps you surge ahead successfully in moments each.

Read this poem once again and remember,

‘Your life is never joy, when you hold on to it with a bad temper!

We are poets and we love mutual empowerment,

That’s what makes our genus as one with best temperament!
